The ultimate goal of any Child & Youth Advocacy Centre is to create a community where a CAC is no longer a necessity, a community without child abuse or neglect.
This course is intended for any caring adult in the community. This course outlines the services available at the Child and Youth Advocacy Centre of Kelowna, and strives to increase the community's understanding of how these services are accessed.

This 90-minute workshop is for service providers working with children or youth. Key learnings include understanding the signs + symptoms of abuse, supporting a disclosure of abuse, making a report and supporting yourself throughout the process.

This 60-minute course for service providers is a continuation of Part 1: Creating a Safer Community for Kids. Key learnings include understanding intersectionality, trauma, the implications of child abuse, along with practical strategies.
